Had a bow thruster fitted to my Bavaria 36 winter 21/22 at a cost of around 5,000. I sent Dave a picture af her sat in the water as he seemed reluctant to dip her in to accurately mark the water line. From leaving cardiff May 2022 and arriving at our first marina, it was clear that the bow thruster was not working correctly. It appeared to draw air into the tunnel suggesting the tunnel was not low enough under the waterline. I also had to replace a fuse from the battery which had blown as the electrician had fitted one some 25% undersize. One year later not resolved. I've had empty promises of plans which never happen. Claims that we should add more anchor chain to push the bow deeper. They sent a marine electrician who claimed the tunnel was deep enough even though he concluded this from standing on the pontoon as no access to the boat. Also too much weight on the stern, ie 3 solar panels at 9kg each. I had standing rigging replaced and the riggers turned my vhf antenna upside down, not the bracket as I had asked. This contributed to high VSWR readings. And these guys were messy. Boot marks and rubber boat hook marks over the hull. They said they would polish them out but never did. My helm cover was left off and dumped in the cockpit to blow away. Keys left in the companion way door together with poor security. After the sail drive seal had been replaced I found marks on the aft cabin door and elsewhere in the woodwork that I knew weren't there before. Just careless. Overall a bad experience and they are quite expensive for the quality of work they turn out.

Becoming a regular customer myself now, so I feel that in itself is a credit to the Marine Services supplied. For Mariner/Mercury parts and service, theyve provided manufacturer parts at OEM prices with great support and advice from DR (outboard) and service staff.

We dropped off a outboard engine for a service and wanted some advice regarding the engine I was made to feel inadequate from the moment I saw the mechanic we left it with them I was rang a few days later to say he needed to order a part which would take about a week. over a month later no news so I rang them to see if it was ready to collect. The terrible attitude I had on the phone for asking was unreal just to luckily it was not my husband on the phone the guy would be in hospital for 3 months shocking costumer service wouldn't recommend avoid like the plague
