Great shop! I tend to do things myself as I've had bad experiences with other shops. Alas seized bolts are beyond me, so off I went. Dave was really helpful and easy to talk to, and sorted out my problem in double quick time. Highly recommended!

I usually don't write reviews, but this time a couple of words need to be written down. I do belive I have been threated very dishonestly by the mechanic and I hope that this review might put awarness on future clients: yesterday I stopped here because I noticed the tyre of my bike was flat. I asked for a patch to fix the tyre but I've been suggested to replace the tubing instead. 18 is expensive but since I needed the bike, fair enough. Today I took the bike out and after 500m the tyre was again flat. I went back to the same place asking for help and I got told that the tyre was too worn and it had to be replaced (45). Hence, I asked why they have replaced the tubing if they saw that the tyre was worn and therefore knew that a tubing replacement wouldn't do the job. The mechanic started to invent excuses like "I've just been told to do so and I did it" (which is exemplificative of a person who doesn't care about doing a good job), "we didn't have your phone number to reach you" (whereas they actually had my number since they informed me the day before that the bike was ready for collection) etc etc. Anyway, I said again fair enough but politely I brought to the mechanic's attention that just yesterday he claimed to have fixed my bike, and for this reason I asked if I could at least pay 45-18=27 instead for the new tyre. However, it's clear that in this place money is more important than client satisfaction and the mechanic kept inventing excuses to make me pay the full price for the tyre. I thanked and I replaced the tyre in another place. I have basically lost 18 which is a decent but not huge amount of money but I do believe that a bad reputation costs way more of this sum so at the end everyone gets what they deserve. P.S. Another person had a very similar experience to mine, so be mindful that these people won't change, but you can always go somewhere else. Edit after the response of the owner: I would like just to point out that 1) SAYING that your services are either changing the tubing or changing the tyre or 2) OFFERING to change the tyre rather than the tubing because it's the best choice are two different things. If I would have been informed that changing the tyre would have been the best option, I would have gone for it straight away with no issues. Thanks for the answer but please don't twist the reality.
