Barclays Bank

Giving 2 stars due to the staff, would be less if not for them. Physical banks are vital to a community, but the big banks don't care about us individually, or as a community. Branches are not profitable as we use the counter, to pay in or take out, not to buy services from them. More and more people buy these services online, making the banks even less profitable and the likelihood of closure even more likely. In the short opening hours, whenever I have gone in, the staff have been first class. Extremely professional and helpful with problems resolved satisfactory. Problems we couldn't sort out online. Problems where we needed to go into the bank. When the bank closes, and don't kid yourself, you know it's on the cards, problems that involve going in to a branch will be a "you're on your own mate, unlucky"

Worse bank in Ponty, shouldnt call itself a bank. Spent 30 minutes in there, no staff tried 3 machines telling me I have no recognised account 4th wouldnt give me the Money needed as over daily limit, needed to speak to someone to say I have easily enough in my account but need extra to what machine gives. But queue now 9 people and already spent 30 mins wasting time. Went to Nat West over the road 2 mins later money out of another account and all achieved. Giving up on Barclays, transfer next week. Pathetic!!

Banked here for many years now.Lots of choice and variety of various different products on offer .Staff are always on hand to help as soon as you walk through the the door. Always greeted with a friendly smile too.

Totally absurd. Support is awful and to create an account you'll need to use the app that doesn't even work properly ?
