I used Plas Y Brenin twice whilst I was staying near by. I just used the car area mostly taking advantage of the warm room with spectacular views and great food. Wifi was available along with places to charge my devices. They even let me use their drying room to try and dry off some of clothes in between my nights out in the mountains. Great service. Thank you. Food & drinks: Food was very delicious. Great home cooked style food Id say. And very reasonable priced. I think their roast most be the best kept secret of the park! Although maybe lots more people come for it later afternoon/early eve as they do serve till 8pm!

First impression of Plas y Brenin... This is a place of historical importance to the UK climbing scene. Its old buildings and sprawling gardens, bordered by mountain, lake, river and road, are perfectly placed to enjoy the outdoor world from the comfort of garden chair or bar seat. Simple, functional, clean accommodation reflects the needs of its visitors - somewhere to sleep in between strenuous Snowdonian exertions.
