Staff were amazing especially Ben. He couldnt do enough for us. He was friendly, polite and fantastic at his job.

We had pre-booked for a Sunday night, arrived on time, it was busy but not very, ordered drinks and choose meals, the menu had very limited vegan options, ordered meals and had to wait for an hour before food arrived, tbf, the roast was excellent and the fish and chips was beautifully cooked. So 3 stars, 1 lost for limited vegan options and 1 for the long wait from ordering to food arriving. Lovely place and staff, will visit again, but will check menu to see if vegan options have improved.

Lovely ambience staff were helpful however we waited an hour for our meals. The food was slightly disappointing we all had cooked dinners meat was very nice but vegetables were hard and roast potatoes looked and taste like frozen potatoes.

Absolutely awful, the menu said "chicken breast on a bed of spinach, topped with bacon etc" in reality it was a microwave meal from a supermarket that you can buy for 3.50 swimming in a watery gruel and a few over cooked chips. We were charged 17 for this rubbish. We will never visit this establishment again under the present management. An iconic pub ruined.
