Top service! Beautiful location in historic town few steps from beautiful castle and harbour. Very welcoming service with lovely host - kind and polite. Amazing place for people exploring Wales or Anglesey,Snowdonia. Building refurbished to high standard! Very clean.Communal kitchen available. Can't ask for better place when visiting Carneafon!!! Highly recommended!!!! Prices below local average....so great deal too!!!

Positives: Very clean Host was very nice and friendly Shower was powerful Bed was incredibly comfortable Heating was good Great Location for restaurants, pubs and castle. Negatives: We stayed on a Saturday and Sunday night the Saturday night was awful as it is in such close proximity to market hall where there is a disco or kareoke every Friday and Saturday. It literally sounded like it was in our room, as there is no sound proofing and the windows are not double glazed. Music stopped at midnight but noisy revellers could be heard until 1am. Bath plug is push type and would not stay in so having a bath could not be achieved. No t.v , whilst a tv isnt mentioned at booking I think in this day and age it is presumed your room will have a tv, so this was quite annoying as I like to watch the tv whilst getting ready and when going to bed. No parking Overall our stay was okay, and if we had stayed during the week when market hall is closed then I think we would have enjoyed it more . It is quite a basic hotel and it is nice and clean so fit for purpose but there was nothing remarkable about it and I wouldnt chose to stay there again.
