Came to stay a night around the area to do some exploring on the next day around Wales. The owner of the place we stayed advised us to go eat here as it was late and it was the only close by place will serving food. friendly place, loved the food and the brownie with the custard was so good!

Lovely pub serving good food. Went two evenings in row with my son when we were staying down the road. He's a picky eater but we both ate well each night.

It was closed at the time of the visit as I was fixing a light but the owner cooked me and my co worker some food it's was amazing I believe they might be opening soon I for one wil be booking a table

Beautiful traditional country pub with outstanding views from the fabulous beer garden. Food is exceptional and very well priced. Good range of drinks from the bar with a fantastic kept cellar (the taste of the lagers and ales shows this). Sunday dinner is a must always piping hot and delicious. Portions are big and the meat is so tender with Yorkshire puds to die for. Fabulous choice of homemade desserts to finish. The pub may be old but the interior is up to date but in keeping with the character. Spotlessly clean and a very well kept beer garden with its very own stream. Traditonal coal fire roaring on the cold winter days. Staff are efficient and friendly and seem nothing is too much trouble. Dog friendly and the staff make such a fuss of them with bowls of water and a doggy treat. Highly recommended by locals aswel and you can see why.
