Persimmon doesn't care. Avoid! Numerous issues with these new houses. Customer service is extremely slow to respond - it took us over a year to sort out the snag list, and only after NHBC got involved. Whenever there's an issue, their response is always we can't give you a date to fix it as it all depends on Persimmon's contractor's availability, as if we purchased house from their contractors! The post code does not work as it points to a location miles away! Having contacted Permission several times over the course of two months. It gets no where - they simply just refuse to help! It's appalling considering that the site is not even finished!!! There are no street signage whatsoever! This and the issue above pose serious safety risks, as it turned out recently emergency service struggled to local the place and residence. No action from Persimmon either! The neighbouring Springfield has street signages in place (construction also ongoing). We have owned three Charles Church homes. The building quality is no premium at all, and the current one at St Edeyrn's is rather poor. The site is not well looked after. Rubbish left on streets and littered in nearby River and green. Lawns are poorly maintained (despite each household paying hundreds a year). BTW, the land is not taken over by local authority, which means we are charged hundreds pounds every year to pay for the maintenance - won't be surprised it rises year after year. One thing for sure, we will not buy houses from Persimmon/Charles Church!
