Rothery Driving school

I had only less than a week to prepare for my driving test and even though i have been driving for 15+ years in America, i needed extra help learning the rules of the roads in the UK. With only a couple of sessions, Rothery driving school helped me not only pass, but become a much better driver. Very helpful and friendly and i would recommend to all friends and family. I had only one lesson and very poor communication from the instructor afterward. Play it by ear type of communication where I was instructed by Mr. John to message him every Thursday so to check if he was going to be free for my lesson. The longest wait I had to experience was a month after a couple of attempts to schedule the next lesson, and even then, I had to message first and ask to resume the lessons. No schedule or plan ahead yet the money was paid to Mr. John in advance for 10 lessons in a mutually agreed deal. After all the wait, my lessons were canceled and a higher amount was deducted from my refund entitlement without prior communication. After being challenged, Mr John refunded me the money confirming he did that as a sign of goodwill. I feel the instructor had no clue what goodwill really was... like, some sort of good deed for wasting people's time and causing inconveniences rather than offering what they are actually entitled to.
