Cocni Kayaks

Cocni Kayaks, under the wise guidance of Andy, gave an old guy of 77 years an amazing first, laid back experience of sea kayaking. I learned so much about the tides and enjoyed the journey amongst spectacular scenery more than I could imagine. It was so interesting to be told the history of the landscape as we passed. This well run outfit based in Burry Port is a hidden gem that is waiting to be discovered and enjoyed. Just do it!

Had a wonderful paddle with Andy . He explained everything before we went out and made me feel at ease. The wet suit and buoyancy aid was all included , also he has helmets . Andy was very informative about the tide and currents and knew the area very well. He made it fun and I recommend any one that wants to try kayaking give Cocni Kayaks a go

Had an amazing day out kayking here. Andy is a great host and makes his priority that everyone has a fun experience, whatever their level. Burry Port is an amazingly beautiful stretch of coast, that offers the safest and calmest of kayaking in the sandy estuary, or there's the option of the open water also. The tides are quite impactful here, so definitely call well ahead to work out the best times to get out there. This was the highlight of our visit to South Wales! Heartily recommend.

Had a brilliant paddle out to Whitford Lighthouse courtesy of Cocni Kayaks. Andy was really good and explained all safety procedures first before we went out. He showed us what to do, calmed some nerves and was with us every paddle along the way! His knowledge of the local area and about the ever changing tides and weather systems was great, and we felt that we we're in safe hands. Will definitely be booking to go out with him again next time we're in the area!
