O.W. Ellis was recommended to me by a friend, whose judgement I was happy to follow, as I had not done any research into funeral companies before my husband died. All my communication with Annette at the company was friendly and caring and I felt reassured that everything was being carried out with great attention to detail. I felt that the staff really respected my wishes before the funeral, on the day itself and afterwards when dealing with matters such as downloading the recording of the service. The funeral director, Gary, phone me beforehand and also spoke to me on the day and kept me properly informed as to the procedures. It was a great relief to know that all the arrangements were in such good hands. I am very grateful that all the staff made an otherwise difficult day run so smoothly.

O W Ellis arranged the funeral for my Dad. Wendy and Gary were extremely professional whilst offering support and sympathy in equal measures. Their caring nature and sensitivity were very much appreciated. I would have no hesitation in recommending their service to anyone looking for funeral services.

I can't speak highly enough about O.W.Ellis, especially Jane McMichael our funeral director. Trevor and his colleague who came to collect my Mum from the house, were a godsend in such traumatic circumstances, they were professional, courteous and , at the time it was reassuring to feel that we were in the hands of true professionals.......bless them. Jane McMichael was amazing, she helped and guided me and my sister through the whole process, she covered every detail with a demeanour that made you feel comfortable in a horrible situation. On the day of the funeral the organisation was superb, the cars were beautifuly turned out and all the men (bearers / drivers) were attired to perfection. I know it was my mother's funeral and myself and my sister are still struggling to cope with the loss, but Jane and her team turned it into a beautiful occasion, there hasn't been one single negative comment from the family or other mourners, just many positive ones. Also the after care has been wonderful, they have helped us in everyway and nothing has been too much trouble. Thank you Jane and everyone at O.W.Ellis.

I could not have asked for more. From first meeting to the end, me & my family were supported in a quiet & professional manner, always considering our wishes for the funeral of my dearest husband, Glyn. All the team were always curteous & showed empathy for our feelings. They were always on hand to answer any queries. We wouldn't hesitate to highly recommend them.
