Nationwide Building Society

Lady at the bank has told me I can't pay money over the counter anymore. I have to put money in using the cash machine outside where you could get mugged. I dont think nationwide have thought this through very professionally.

Nothing to do with the staff who are always fantastic, but wheres the customer service when its shut on a Saturday?!? People do work in the week

Always helpful and pleasant, quite often have to queue but that is obviously not the fault of the staff.

I dread going in to this branch. They Excel at being unhelpful and making you feel your like you're a pain for them. I've never had a good experience in branch at shotton - ever! I would suggest if the staff don't want to be there to help, they should look for work in a different profession. Not necessarily the reason for this review but typical was today's experience. On getting to the door, the 'bouncer' stopped and directed me to the cash machine to pay in. I appreciate they're protecting their staff in these times but with that in mind, why would they make a customer use an un-sanitised cash machine when the branch is empty? On top of that, they still have to handle the cheque anyway.. makes no sense. The neighbouring banks appeared to be letting people in while enforcing social distancing. Hey nationwide, top tip time - refresh this branch's customer service training.
