This beach area is a wonderful place to go, however, I would not recommend that you swim in the sea as there is an extremely strong current and the tide comes in very very quickly indeed. Also there is lots of rocks so it is not suitable for anybody with disabilities. However, the promenade runs along. The beach it is a really really good walk for everybody. Its extremely flat and is wonderful because you can see lots of different things along your walk. The only major problem from what I can gather is that you cant get to it without going over the metal bridge that goes from the main carpark over the railway line. This bridge has lots of steps so wheelchairs would not be able to access it. However, I write this as a blind person so I am not 100% sure as to whether there is a ramp access area to this promenade. I highly recommend everybody has a nice long walk on this promenade as I am sure you will truly enjoy it. There is lots of seating areas along the route and you can enjoy the wonderful fresh sea air. I went hear on the 18th of September 2022, and thoroughly enjoyed it.
