Snowdonia Glamping Holidays

We stayed in the Owl barn and it was truly a once in a lifetime experience. The room was beautiful, warm, spacious and felt cosy. We used the wood fire nightly and it was perfect. It was also refreshing that there was no internet service. It was good way to be present and to escape into nature. Coming from Australia, we had never seen snow and on our last day we opened the curtains to white as far as the eye could see, uncharacteristic for March so we were lucky. It was so still and peaceful, the most beautiful morning walk I have ever been on, with robins in the trees, the river sounds flowing and a pretty orange cat walking through the snow. The highlight of our 2-week trip. Highly recommend staying here, the night sky is beautiful, its peaceful, scenic and the perfect getaway. 10/10 (Also our hosts were wonderful, thank you for being so accommodating)

One of the best places we have stayed in a long time. Richard and Hazel have thought of everything to make your stay that extra little bit special. The barns are spotlessly clean, equipped with everything you need and more. The log burner, the sumptuous super king bed the little hatches for the kids in the bunks and the shower and bathroom are just the icing on the cake. Thank you for a wonderful stay we will definitely be back.

We relished our 4 night stay in peaceful, warm, cosy, beautifully designed & presented Gwdy-hw (Owl) barn. Set in an exquisite location, you feel secreted away & part of the hills, with views out to Snowdonia from both the property and pretty hill walk above the barn. Our hosts were unfailingly kind, thoughtful & generous with their time, advice & hospitality; what joy when you arrive after your journey to a delicious home-baked cake & friendly welcome! Thank you Hazel & Richard for everything & sharing this very special place. We feel so lucky to have discovered you, as a wonderful base from which to climb Yr Wyddfa/Snowdon & explore further afield. We can't wait to return! Matthew & Nicole.

I am quite reluctant to write this review as I want to keep this place for myself! Its just outstanding, the attention to detail is brilliant and the hosts are some of the nicest people one could ever meet. Personally I cant imagine anyone writing a bad review as the hosts are so approachable and any issues are dealt with immediately.

We have just returned from a long weekend staying in one of the barns and we didn't want to leave! The most wonderful accommodation with picturesque views. Hazel was extremely welcoming, and the special touch of a homemade lemon drizzle cake was just lovely. We definitely hope to return, and will 100% recommend it to anyone who's visiting Snowdonia!
