Service was excellent as usual and the sharing platter for two Sunday lunch is outstanding both in quality and value for money. The staff are all highly Professional and are always there to provide 5 star service.

Great location. That's as good as it gets. Badly managed. Under trained staff. Poor quality food. Overpriced drinks. BRAINS pubs have ruined a perfectly good independent pub.

Stunning food! Had the Buttermilk fried chicken burger and it was exceptional. Friendly and welcoming staff, clean and homely. Brilliant, we'll be back!

Visit was mostly fine. I didn't receive the burger I ordered (Thought I ordered beef burger with bacon & cheese (no sauce) but instead received chicken. Not a huge issues, but was a bit of surprise! Another member of my party has their steak marginally overcooked (ordered rare, received medium) & the prawn were overcooked. Other than that it was fine food wise. Did struggle to get staff's attention to get the bill. Ended up going to the bar because it was easier.

Went on a quiet evening. Ordered a cider, espresso martini and a coke. Martini was actually quite delicious. We ordered mains- Gammon and chips which was lovely hot and tasty a burger and fries (wish the burger had come with the chips rather than fries) and a kids burger which my daughter didn't like at all. It wasn't very tasty in her opinion- she likes all the toppings and it was plain, I get kids generally like plain foods so wasn't surprised. The adult mains were 10/10 though.
