Pink scissors fabric

I love this shop so much. There is a huge choice of high quality fabrics, cotton, Jersey, Rayon, Linen etc. Beautiful pattern choices and colours. Suzanne is on hand to help with sewing pattern choices too. She has a huge cutting table, loads and loads of sewing accessories as well as a place to sit and look through the pattern books. I love how every time I go into the shop there is always something new to look at and buy. The range of fat quarters/quilting blocks is exciting to see, many different brands of materials too. There are two spaces where sewers can hire a table to work or there are regular sewing classes going on. I have had lessons with Sheila and Linda. Both are fantastic teachers, I felt able to ask questions and they didn't mind going back over things for me so that I felt confident working at home. I really enjoyed the Christmas stocking workshop. I completed the entire stocking in the workshop then went home to make another. The website is easy to navigate and the delivery times are really quick if you can't make it into the shop. If you are coming to the shop, allow yourself a couple of hours in there, there's a lot to see/decide between and bring a big bag to take home all your goodies.

I love this shop and I love Suzanne who runs it, shes so wonderful, cheery and so knowledgeable. Theres so much choice and just a short walk from the centre of Bridgend. She also has work spaces for rent , courses to participate in, so you can spend time here and really feel part of a sewing community. Most importantly for me, as I am the Area coordinator for Project Linus in the Borough, she has generously allowed her business to become the beating heart of our community. A visit to Pink Scissors is never time wasted, but dont tell your other half , unless they understand the joy of a fabric stash!

Suzanne is the owner and always gives you a friendly welcome. Fabrics are lovely and fairly priced. I have hired a table for the day and met lovely people ( no distraction like at home, got lots of sewing done) Well worth a visit , have a peek at workshops that are run by different tutors.

First visit to Pink Scissors today and definitely wont be my last! Very friendly welcome from Suzanne, lovely fresh, bright and airy shop with sooooo much temptation! Lots of pretty quilting fabrics, some gorgeous dressmaking fabrics and trimmings too- really spoilt for choice! So glad to have found this gem of a shop so close to where I live
