What an awesome garage. Collected the car from home as it wouldnt drive. 2 working days later we had a text saying it was ready. Couldnt believe the work was completed so quickly! Diagnosed and clutch replaced with no hidden fees or extras included in the price. A truly genuine friendly guy and a garage with a proper local feel to it. Someone who wants to help and not just charge the earth. Its tough to find places like this and so glad they still exist. If we need a garage again we will be choosing here without a doubt. I've been using the same mechanic for my car for 4 years, however he was fully booked so I chose this garage because they were the ones that could change the clutch on my car ASAP. I was told over the phone that it would costs 250 to have it fitted. When the garage called to say its ready for collection I was told that the total cost is 370 because the slave cylinder and gearbox oil were also changed. I was not told this before hand, surely any extra work or change in price would have to be agreed with the customer!? The gearbox oil was changed two years ago so that wasn't a must. When I got home and checked the car I noticed that the screw that holds the engine gearbox at the top was missing, and a part that was attached to that screw was tied with cable tie so clearly they misplaced that screw because I know for definite that was there. He should also state from the start that he wants cash (for reasons known to him). Personally, I won't be coming back here and I do not recommend and I am disappointed because I chose this garage following the recommendations found on the internet. After 3 months I found that it's an oil leak from the gearbox, under the car. Service: Transmission
