Interesting traditional menu, food was cooked nicely to about 1000 degrees. My dish was nicely spiced without being overpowering allowing all the flavours through. The service was excellent, attentive and fast. The decor needs attention.

The food was great. Poppadoms overpriced at 1.50 each. Based on the food a 4/5 experience. The male waiter let us down. We drove an hour to be here, my fiance planned this as a surprise for my birthday. She informed them of the occasion when booking the table. Some mistakes were made when ordering. We ordered momos and were given cheese Kakhura. He wouldnt change it. We accidentally ordered an extra rice between us and it was a pain to put this right, he was extremely reluctant. Also one of the rice was incorrect and he insisted we were wrong instead of putting things right. We eventually got the rice changed. He was unfriendly and mostly unwilling to help. The manager (possibly owner) was kind and went out of his way to make us comfortable after we explained, offering free drinks to end our meal. I did refuse and explained we would be leaving after paying the bill. On the way out he gave me a free bottle of beer. A nice peace offering. Unfortunately we wont be back.

Lovely people and lovely food, but it's generous portions so be prepared to take some home with you. We went in April 2023, had 2 bottles of beer, 2 starters, 2 mains, 1x rice, 1x Nan and 1x Okra side. It was all PERFECT and with my tip came to 60. Well worth it.
