Brecon Surgery

The staff here are so friendly, and work together amazingly well. Ive never worked at such a lovely GP surgery before. The doctors really support the learning of students, nurses and healthcare assistants in their learning and development, even encouraging them in apprenticeships and and to do nurse practitioner courses.

I have just tried to phone the surgery but as usual no one answered this is totally unacceptable by any standards I have given up trying to get in touch so will just suffer and hope my diabetes is okay !!!!!

Polite but by far the worst service I have experienced at a practice. The phone system is terrible and when you get through you'll probably wish you hadn't as there's unlikely to be any appointments.

I was told I was getting an appointment on the day I called, I was told to wait for a call back that I never got and when I called back to see what was going on and I was told an appointment is not available and the doctors tried to call me but they did not, there was not as single missed call.

I would say they should really hire more receptionists, tired of waiting around from normally 25+ minutes just to speak to someone. However, the receptionists they already have are rude. Have put off calling the surgery about multiple things purely because I don't want to deal with them. Edit; Started calling the surgery at exactly 8AM as requested by the surgery YESTERDAY when they refused to let me speak to a doctor. It is now 9:35, and no one has answered the phone.
