        We had a fab stay at Blaencwm Cottages for a week during Feb half-term. The Y Fenni Fawr cottage was lovely and cosy with modern facilities and appliances. Alison and Steve gave us a warm welcome with a lovely welcome pack and a homemade cake which was delicious. We met their friendly, cats, donkeys, ducks and chickens. The cottage was in an ideal location to explore the mythical Preseli Mountains, Cilgerren Castle and nature reserve and Cardigan Bay.

        We stayed at y Beudy, the one bedroom cottage at Blaencwm Cottages for a 5 night stay this April. The cottage is fantastic - it's cosy and charming and the hosts Alison and Steve are wonderful. We ordered a meal (lasagne and veg lasagne) the first night we arrived and it was well worth the 7.50 per meal! The Cottages are dog friendly, with secure gardens and a further secure "orchard" with a bbq hut that can be hired and there are two resident donkeys and ducks on the premises. The one bedroom cottage also has its own little sauna that can be used any time. Pembrokeshire is a stunning location, with lots of dog friendly attractions to visit, including the stunning Poppit Sands beach near Cardigan. Aberystwyth is also only an hour away and a lovely day out. We would definitely recommend Blaencwm Cottages as a holiday destination. Nearby activities: Poppit Sands fog friendly beach is only 15 mins away, as are Cardigan (Town and castle) and Cilgerran Castle. Aberystwyth is only an hour away
