Visited this particular location while visiting nearby Aberystwyth.. This is a wonderful place for a family to visit.. Beautiful scenery to admire and enjoy as you walk around a large lake.. There's a small children's activity play area, a bike park( similar to skating parks but for mountain bikes and suchlike..) There's also mountain bike trails.. A trail for children to find things on trees as the walk around the area.. And There's the Red Kites flying high above you.. And at around 15.00hrs, the Kites are seen feasting on food the warden's place near the hide.. Truly a wonderful site to see and enjoy by all the family.. Herons, mallards and jumping fish can also be seen while visiting this location.. A cafe& souvenir shop are sited here with a large decking area to sit and enjoy food/ beverages... Various places to sit and enjoy the views.. Limited spaces available for disabled parking.. But large carpark area also available across from the main building.. Dog friendly for sure, but although a bin is placed near cafe, for poo bags if you forget yours, there is no poo bins.. So attendant said to place it in general waste bin.. 1.50 for an hr.. 3.50 for 3hrs at time of our visit.. Definitely worth visiting if you're in the area...
