Lovely place, very central to what we needed, it is a quiet relaxing place to stay, owners are trying to run off grid, phone and 4g signals very intermittent so make sure you download everything you need before leaving, the accommodation has pretty much everything you need very well equipped washing machine, cooking facility, food mixing machine if you fancy making cakes, very well decorated, beautiful views, very quiet, a beautiful place to stay for a couple, nice to sit down in the evening with a glass of wine, there is a small patio area which we couldn't use because of the weather but it would be great to sit there in the evening and look at the stars. host is very helpful and lives close by so if there's anything you need they can assist, but will leave you to yourself, we didn't see anyone all week. As with everywhere In the winter it can get a bit cold on tiled floors so take socks or slippers, there is a gas heater if you get cold, we only turned it on for a little in the evening, but when you've been out walking/cycling or fishing all day your too warm to notice. Great location for activities, fishing, cycle tracks, red kite sanctuary, mines, Aberystwyth, devil's Bridge to mention a few. Local petrol station has a little shop you can buy a few food items from otherwise main shops 30min away or stop off during your journey and stock up before arrival. Overall a very lovely little cottage with beautiful scenery would recommend especially if you love nature and the remoteness of wales, being on your own and being self sufficient. Would definitely come back again.
