Maes Manor Hotel

Stayed for one night, and NEVER AGAIN! It was a fight to unlock the rooms door, like the lock was broken. Room it self was small, bed very low to the floor. The heater in the bathroom was broken and was on level 5 and would not turn down. The heat was turned off to my room in the middle of the night. I woke up at 1am freezing. I tried calling the desk and no one picked up. I ended up getting dressed and sleeping in all my clothes to keep warm. The morning I wanted to take a hot shower and try to warm myself. Yea that didn't happen, the boiler was off so no hot water. No one had any answers on why there was no heat and hot water, and they didn't seem to care.

Wonderful stay We stayed at the Maes Manor recently for a friends wedding who was getting married in another hotel about one mile away, which had the all bells and whistles accommodation spar golf course etc , along with being very pricey! Our friends who did stay there complained about the skimpy breakfast. We are so glad we chose this hotel the staff were so friendly and accommodating, unlike the hotel we were guests for at the wedding we attended they were so miserable.. Our room was very basic but nice and clean, breakfast was fantastic we only paid 10 each to be treated to wonderful service and a A1 breakfast. We got chatting to a couple that stayed for their friends wedding, they said the day was amazing and the wedding breakfast was outstanding. Seems a lot different to the one we attended. We are looking forward to returning to the Maes Manor in the summer for a little break and some sightseeing. Thanks agin for a fantastic stay!
