Nemo Fish & Chips

can honestly say that we haven't enjoyed fish and chips this much in a long time. We visited today while on holiday in Wales and decided we wanted fish and chips for lunch. My partner had fish chips and gravy and I had fish chips and curry sauce. We had to wait a short time as it was all cooked fresh and on opening our boxes to eat were treated to lovely large fish in the crispiest not greasy in the slightest batter and perfect homemade chips. Both the gravy and curry sauce were smooth no horrid dry powder lumps and so tasty. The curry sauce is genuinely the tastiest I've ever had. would give more stars if I could for the service and cleanliness and will definitely be making this a regular visit whenever we're in Wales.

The worst chippy I've ever been over priced nemo was a bigger fish than what I got, chips were not good, place is a total ripoff for visiting people north Wales

Visited 10th April 2023 Orange Fish - what they Advertise; Finger fish in chips - what we got. By far the most unsatisfying Fish N Chip experience to date, We first visited them last year in Llangollen and the quality then was very good if somewhat expensive. This year the quality has gone down to the point that we may has well have gone to a greasy spoon truck stop; we spent over 14 [and as other have said, we were charged for the cheap wooden cutlery] which got us the small and very thin fish in the photo. The fish was paper thin and mostly batter, and the chips were bland, soft and evidently re-cooked, We can only assume that the increased costs has tempted the owners to seriously reduce, quantity and quality. This will in the end backfire on them as word will spread about the now appalling quality of their product. There are other establishments in the same shopping complex and it will only take one of them to produce a decent fish N chips to steal Nemo's trade; what a shame. The ONLY reason we ate it was because we had a 4 hour drive ahead of us and is was pouring with rain; this meal was all about sustenance and nothing about enjoyment at all.
