Simon and Sharon have done a really good job with this place. Well impressed. Everything was spotless, the room was warm, plenty of tea and coffee, there are loads of DVDs, BluRays and books, as well as a good size TV in the room. There's even some wine glasses if you decided to bring some wine back to your room. They've thought of everything! 10/10. The booking sites suggest you can't check in until quite late but we got an email from Simon and Sharon directly saying we could check in from 3pm which was great. Check out is at 10am. A slightly later check out would obviously be nice but I imagine most people staying here are up early and out hiking, and I get the impression that if I messaged Simon or Sharon to ask if it would be OK to check out a bit later, they'd probably be accomodating. We decided not to have breakfast so can't comment on that, but given how much care has been put into everything else, I imagine it would be good!
