Good pub 3min down the road.
Nice cafe 2min down the road.(closes 3pm)
Great space heater in the dining\communal area.
! it's an old school & was built with high windows so it's not a place to hang around inside hoping to look out at the view!
tips 2022
- Drying room heater: set it to fan only or 1 bar. 2 bars trips out the blower - we couldn't quite work it out but turning it off at the wall & leaving it a minute or two seemed to help reset it.
(Feb 2022 suspect the tiny dehumidifier isn't working - it seems to have lost some bits like a filter?))
- Gas heating in the dorms comes on about 4.30pm(?)
- Bring your own : dishcloths, teatowels, kitchen knives, small saucepans, ,,,
