On the plus side it was very phone signal unfriendly in the area so latched onto the hostels WiFi so I could get in touch with the little ladies at home to let them know I was safe

No phone reception at all. Luckily had WiFi. Room was tiny with only a bunk bed sink and a bedside cabinet in. It had a tiny skylight window in which only opens so much. Shared toilet and shower facilities which were next to my room and were clean but small. Had an annoying water pump system which kept me up most the night.
