Not sure what to make of the shop. Owner was nice & helpfull. Only problem, he is never open. Called 5 times in 3 days & was only open once. So if you need Bait or tackle, dont rely on the shop being open. dont think i will waste my time next time.

I popped over for a look after a buddy had told me of a new tackle shop that had opened but he'd been unable to find. in fairness it's not difficult to located but you'd miss it if you blinked following the main road if you don't know the area well. I arrived about 1430 on a Saturday afternoon, to closed and dead looking shop. The signs up said they should have been open until 1700, disappointing straight from the start sadly! Looking through the window it seems pretty bare. There were maybe 4 'mackerel basher' type rods on one side of the room, and a wall display of packeted up rigs, and bread and butter items (hooks swivels etc). and whole box of filleting knives and crab lines The big freezers at the back of the room are for the bait I'm guessing From the outside it's definitely a bait shop that sells tackle. There's enough here to get you going (no idea of prices) for a casual fishing session on holiday (which is what I'm guessing it's pitched to) but it's not somewhere to pick up gear for a boat trip or picking up a penn surfblaster
