        Love this place. Used it as a base for a few days walking with a buddy but heading back in the Autumn with my partner to show her what a gem I've found. Breakfast was excellent and my only regret is we went to the pub for dinner - I'm sure the food would have been better if we'd stayed put! Oh, and should have taken the time to explore the 21 acre grounds! Walkability: 10 minute walk into Beddgelert which is well served for the tourist industry. Be mindful that the short drive is very steep on the way back and could be a problem for some people

        The hotel was at the top of a steep drive; my car could only manage it in first gear. But it did manage it. We didn't get there until 20.00. Host was very pleasant and happy to have a chat whilst relaxing in the lounge by the fire. That made the experience quite personal; I liked that. Room was alright, bed was comfortable enough. Nice and cozy. Location was relatively close to Pen-Y-Pass. Breakfast was decent enough in the morning and we were off to walk up Snowdon...
