Always a pleasure to pop into Oriel Beaumaris to see and discuss Ian's inspiring work; real skill capturing the landscapes and light of Anglesey. Looking to commission a piece upon our return. Well worth a visit of you are on the island.

Had a lovely chat with Ian on our first visit to Beaumaris, really interesting to see the painting process and he gave us some helpful painting tips. The paintings in the gallery are absolutely stunning, well worth a trip if on Anglesey

An incredible selection of paintings all perfectly depicting the places they represented! Clearly a lot of love and care went into every piece and his years of experience really showed through. The artist, Ian, was lovely. Happy to chat and give us recommendations of where to go on our holiday, even stopping to get a map and show us to his recommended beaches! Happy for dogs to come into the gallery as well and said a nice hello to our dog as we talked. We were also told about the commissions, send him a picture you've taken of the beautiful Welsh scenery and get it painted by one of the best artists I've ever seen!

Beamaris has become a fantastic arts centre with three fantastic galleries immediately next to one another. As soon as I entered Oriel Beaumaris I received a very friendly welcome, was allowed to freely look around and being able to speak directly with Ian Walton the artist himself is wonderful. His seascapes are absolutely beautiful. I would certainly recommend visiting. To be honest all three galleries are a real asset to Baemaris making a lovely coastal town even more appealing and attractive for visitors.
