Please please check which insurance providers your vets will do direct claims with (there aren't many) before you book them in for what could be expensive treatment...I pay 160 a month for dog insurance, because I like many people wouldn't be able to find hundreds or thousands of pounds if a situation arose...I thought my dogs were protected but they are not and yours might not be either, because I had made an appointment before I found out that they would not do a direct claim I was unable to change my insurance thus leaving me in this awful situation and my poor dog left in pain with hip dysplasia.
I asked what would happen if there was a medical emergency costing thousands of pounds and was told 'we would administer pain relief' they refused to answer whether they would treat my dog or not which to me means they wouldn't.
They are refusing to tell people the insurers they refuse to work with which I believe is untruthful and putting our animals in serious danger...
Please please check with your vets who they will do direct claims with before you're in this awful situation like me....
Thanks for reading side note...Julie the receptionist is very rude and actually lied to the manager about something I didn't even say. Julie definitely does not have animals best interests in mind, Tracey the head nurse was lovely though so try to speak to her
