We've been going to Bay 5 for nearly 5 years and have regularly enjoyed their bacon bloomers and hot chocolates. However, the afternoon tea served on novelty picnic tables is a real treat. We had enjoyed it a couple of years ago on Mother's Day, but this year the excellent staff really saved my bacon! Having mixed up the booking (my mistake!) and arrived two hours early, the excellent staff were able to accommodate myself, my pregnant wife and hungry toddler despite being really busy. They saved our Mother's Day! It's also a lovely spot and always delicious. A must for any visit to Barry Island!
