Terrible experience... After a lovely time at the funfair and arcade, we decided to grab a bite to eat. There were 6 of us and we ordered 4 paninis, 5 drinks and bakery items. The little one only wanted chips and a couple of us fancied some chips with our panini. I popped elsewhere for chips. On my return I was very quickly and abruptly approached and told we can't eat chips here. I explained that it was to go with our paninis and was told he didn't care and again we cant eat chips here, it says so on the table. I assumed it said no chips as they didn't sell chips... we should have then and there left and asked for refund and to cancel the panini order. However, cakes were being devoured and drinks opened so our group then split as I wasn't to have the chips there and had to leave while my partner waited for the paninis. Half our party was then stood in the rain waiting. We went bk to the chip place who kindly allowed us to use their tables. The paninis were also not paninis they were squashed and toasted baguettes. We have had a panini there last year and it was an actual panini. We were going to complain but didn't feel it was worth while given the attitude of the staff member. Will never return or recommend. However the chip shop next door were lovely. The burger bar on the corner opposite the motorbike parking is fab. The kiosk right as you leave the car park also really lovely for sweets and treats and the ice cream counter on the front lovely and large ice-creams.....

Not a nice experience at all today. With my kids, my partner and 2 of her kids, a fun filled morning in Barry on the fun fair and arcade, so needed something to eat. Not everyone wanted the same food, as can be expected from 4 kids, so I queued up with 1, 2 of the older kids went elsewhere, to purchase other items of food. I sat back down with the wooden spoon and order number after spending a fair amount of money. 2 of the kids came back with their items and sat with us, and then just like clockwork as my partner sat down, was very rudely approached by a member of staff who had been hanging around by the door to the kitchen. The rather rude man then stated that we had to leave as this item of food was not allowed at their tables. My partner said that we had just spent a large amount on 5 meals with them, but he obviously didn't care as they have my money. The rest of the family left while me and my daughter waited for the "Panini's" (note the air quotes) that were almost thrown at us. We left and rejoined the rest of the family to find out that our panini's were not actually panini's, but just squashed baguettes. So, not provided what I paid for. The cafe had shut it's doors so I could not go back to complain. So, avoid, unless you want overpriced, substandard bread, and a good chance of some guy with an attitude problem throwing you out for having kids who fancy a certain hot potato product, no matter what you spend in here.
