The hills behind Barmouth are a Warren of paths and glorious views. A nice steep hike up then walk as far as you like

400ft ascent, but we'll worth the views, you have not seen Barmouth unless you take this journey to the 'peak'. Loved Gellfechan and Gellfechan Road, and 1st land given to the National Trust by Fanny Talbot.

The path is hidden and the climb a bit treacherous but theres a path leading from this flag to the top of the mountain and it's like the green place from the land before time, and theres a ruined village overrun by sheep
