Me and my wife stayed here Friday just gone until Sunday for my 40th. I booked and was excited. But after reading reviews I was dreading it, however we agreed it was too late to change so would make the most of it. Turns out the reviews aren't just and we're actually really harsh. We received a tx on the morning before we arrived giving us a full description of address, which hut we were staying and that hottub was ready and code for entry. On arrival we found our hut very quickly and settled in well, the hot tub was to temperature and really relaxing. The scenery is stunning and surrounding areas free from rubbish. Granted the huts were not completely pristine, but glamping is glorified camping. People shouldn't be going glamping if they are wanting hotel stars, there will be dust and bugs etc you're right next to a river in the valleys. The huts are cosy and equipped with what you need. Recommend shopping for necessities beforehand as nearest shop is 30 minutes drive. There is a great fishery up the road where we spent a great day fishing carp before a nice evening back at the hut. The river is lush to wander about and we even skimmed stones, something I've not done for years. A few constructive critics, the beds could do with up graded for comfiness as some springs gone, and maybe some more appealing bedding. Finally some mats/outdoor rugs for when getting in and out of the tub. Otherwise we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We visited Powis Castle, king arthurs labyrinth and a comedy festival in Machynlleth. We cannot wait to return with the kids in the summer. REMEMBER it's not a 5 star hotel, it's a nice quiet relaxing setting with what you need for glorified camping. So if you're not stuck up your own arses and don't mind roughing it a tad then highly recommend Twin river Lodge. Oh als i left my gold necklace by mistake, Daniel rang us and let us know and insisted on returning free of charge. Great customer service.

Stayed at the Maple lodge last night and we loved it. We received a message earlier in the day to say that the hot tub was at the right temperature ready for us and the code to get through the gates. We had a right laugh in the hot tub. The lodge was very modern, clean and comfy. My only advice would be to take some supplies with you as the nearest shop is a bit of a drive. But I guess that's the price you pay for it being so lovely and quiet there. We will definitely be back. Thank you.
