        Voltaire is a vegan restaurant located very close to the promenade in Bangor. We are not vegan ourselves but we were impressed with the food. We had the Jamaican buffalo wings which were cauliflower florets coated in a sweet and sticky sauce - absolutely amazing and moreish. Our mains were vegan sausages and mash with an onion gravy. This was also delicious and the portion was generous. The service was friendly and there is a quaint decor which adds to the cosy atmosphere.

        Food was great. Service could have been better. Friendly enough but left finished plates for ages. And the two girls behind the counter had enough time to chat, but not to clear dishes away. A shame cos it's a nice place. Vegetarian options: All is vegetarian and vegan
