Tan Y Coed - Wales Getaway

Stayed in this lovely barn conversation for a week in February. The location could not have been better for great walks from your doorstep. We took food supplies with us as we knew the shops where a little way off from the property. The property is very clean and tidy however the is some water damage in the kitchen, downstairs flooring and the bathrooms. The tiling in main bathroom, with bath, is not good and in a dangerous condition with sharp arriss to end tiles.

We had such a lovely stay at Tan Y Coed. The accommodation was absolutely fantastic - even better than wed expected from the pictures and the views were gorgeous, even when it was really rainy. Theres so much space, and the downstairs games room was a massive kit with our kids. It was spotlessly clean and the kitchen was really well supplied with everything we needed to cook (massive points for the extra kid friendly crockery and cutlery) The drying cabinet in the utility was a lifesaver after a few very wet walks. The Mawddach trail, which is just across the road, was perfect for wanders with young children but we saw loads of cyclists and longer distance walkers too. And the outside space was really secluded. Ideal for a cuppa or a wine after a day out!! Wed absolutely love to stay again one day. I cant recommend it enough.

A fantastic modern and spacious holiday house on the doorstep to some very scenic walking trails. There are 4 bedrooms, 2 with en-suite and a main bathroom, all good size. Upstairs has a great open plan entertaining/dining area with a central fire place for cosying up after a long day's walk. The stream running out the front of the property is a nice extra and there is loads of parking. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a luxury base-camp rambling holiday or a nice place to recharge in style.
