We had a nice welcome from the staff, drinks came to the table quickly and the food was with us in no time, also the burger meal deal was really nice

Service was slower than expected and disappointed there was no Sunday lunch or mixed grills available. However service we did receive was fantastic. I could see the manager was under pressure, however that did not effect her customer service in anyway. 23 years I have been in hospitality, and it began in The Phoenix so many years ago, so I know how dissicult it can be at times. But honestly the lady and gentleman( no idea of names sorry) he was ginger and a beard. Both were fantastic and it is always the service that brings back custom. We will be returning next time we are visiting from North Wales, hopefully there will be sunday lunch then too. Until then please pass on this feedback to them and the chef who cooked my med/rare sirloin. They really do care for the customers and that is something so hard to find these days.

Beautiful welcome. Gorgeous meals and wonderful atmosphere. Great little pub. Weekend entertainment and bingo/quiz night on weekly basis. Just what a community needs. Hopefully people will make it successful.
