Routinely refuse to do normal post office duties and very rude to customers. Hopefully their temporary closure will become permeant.

Non local called in to deposit cash into my account. I was refused due to only being 5 in 20p. I am not a bank I am a everyday person I do not hold hundreds of pounds in change. They claim this is to reduce the spread of covid how does it? I made a special journey to the post office and was already in front on the cashier my local post office accepts it and would have taken less than 1 minute to serve me. Instead I got told that he couldn't accept it very poor customer service and certainly didn't go above the call of duty. Refusing to serve me doesn't reduce the spread of covid if anything it accerate it due to people having to go back.I was already in the building and literally would have taken 1 minute to be served.
