I have stayed here a few times and the staff are lovely. The bathrooms could do with a little TLC but nothing to complain about. Getting in touch with the hotel itself though is an absolute nightmare. I've phoned 4 times (which charge 13p per min plus provider excess) and never managed to get through. I was only wanting to ask them to keep earrings I accidentally left until I stay again; not worth anything but they're my favourite ones. Noteworthy details: Try to ensure you never need to contact them by phone call because you'll never be able to reach them.

This was our second stay visit. Last time the manager, midnight checkin and family rooms were all great. However, this time for a standard room checkin it and stay - everything was awful. Ants everywhere in the room including bed. The rudeness from the lady at reception when asked if we can pay for late checkout by an hour - her words, I am not doing any late checkouts today Ive got cleaners in today, so you better checkout on time. Then exactly at 12 noon whilst I was about to open the door to leave my room she knocked and literally shouted, checkout is at 12 you need to be shifting. Literally off putting, rude and mannerless lady. When rang the same lady for a fresh towel she wouldnt send one to the room and insisted all rooms should have two towels. True. We had 2 towels but one was covered in some brown colour. Perhaps dried blood or maybe some chocolate spilled or a coffee stain. So we asked for a fresh one to be safe and clean. Lady made the entire process too difficult again. Id not return to this location again no matter how frequently I need to access this area in Carmarthen. Cleaning staff were fantastic and very polite and friendly.
