The Trees holiday home is spacious and well equipped. It has seven bedrooms, all en suite, all up a staircase on the first floor. The kitchen/dining area is large, with a 6ft fridge and separate 6ft freezer, both in an adjoining utility room, reached via three large steps, so plenty of room for food but not easy to get to for the elderly or infirm. There is an enormous conservatory. The owners were very accommodating, permitting us to use the venue for a small wedding reception. No real negatives; small repairs needed here and there, some of the double glazing has blown in the conservatory, the en suites are a little tired, but nothing to detract from the stay. The Trees is plenty of building for a reasonable price. Recommended. Nov 5th, 2021

Big house, lots of basic rooms. As others have said there are a few safety issues to be aware of. Children could access the fire exit if they are able to open doors. Both the fire exit and the conservatory door have no access from the outside so if the door shuts behind you you may be locked out. Garden is open to the road down the drive, so something to be mindful of with dogs and children. Heating has to be on to get hot water and some radiators can't be turned off leading to very hot rooms in the summer if you want a shower. Conservatory windows don't open, again leading to a green house that is afar too hot to sit in in the summer. Makes a great base if you are out and about. Oct 2nd, 2021
