I needed to collect a legal document, that had been stored with this solicitor by someone else several decades ago (as I live in a different part of the country). I didn't know how to go about it so I telephoned them. The staff on the phone were really helpful and explained what documentation I needed to show them to prove my entitlement to the document. They very helpfully suggested several options to do this and how best to get the document to me. In the end I opted to visit their offices in person and arranged a day to visit and they had it ready for me when I arrived. The staff provided it quickly (after viewing my documents to confirm my ID and entitlement to the document). They did not charge me any admin fee for their time spent locating and releasing the document. Based on my brief experience of them, they seem efficient and honest and if I lived locally I would feel confident using their services. They turned a potentially stressful experience into an easy one.
