Zero accountability from the reception staff with little to no remorse. On one of the many instances of poor service, I was told that I would be receiving a phone call from the doctor in the morning regarding something rather urgent - I didn't receive said call until the afternoon at which point I couldn't take the call because I was in work. I called back as soon as I got off and was told by the receptionist that the doctor would try to phone me again. I received nothing for the rest of the day so I called back just before they closed and was met with a different, only this time dismissive, receptionist who disregarded the misinformation that I had received prior and attempted to gaslight me, reiterating that it was me who missed the phone call and that she personally would not advise anyone that a doctor would call them "in the morning". I missed the phone call because I was in work, I can't sit by the phone all day waiting on GP's who are calling later than was originally planned. Bizarre and shoddy stuff from the team there. If you have a better alternative then take it as the stresses and strains of going to this practice are not worth it. I was just told that I would be receiving a phone call next week in the mid-morning, as vague as that is, so I am hoping to not have a repeat of this weeks antics.

Absolutely useless. They're practically impossible to contact in the first place. If you do manage to contact them, you have to wait for them to get back to you and they don't always do that. In the unlikely event of actually getting an appointment, it's over the phone so they can't really check anything. It's all guess work as to what's wrong.

Seriously, between the impolite admin who just flat out don't let you finish talking, to the fact that they told me I had to wait nearly 3 weeks for an appointment to do with the fact that I was finding it increasingly difficult to breath, to the fact that they "lost" my diagnosis of asthma and GAD and it took me ages to get a new inhaler? Church surgery take weeks to get anything done, and I'm pretty sure they just dismiss me because I'm young and therefore likely at less risk- I get ill extremely frequently and have never, once, in my two years of being signed up, had them *actually* help me with something. Been meaning to change GPs for months now, but I haven't been well enough at any poiny during that time (you know, because they refuse to help me) to actually do it. Absolutely terrible, I cannot think of a single time they have actually helped me. I've just been having to start calling 111 instead.
