Please note that since writing this review now over two years ago, the ownership has now changed and the below review does not reflect the new ownership as of 2022.Do not bring your suit jackets here ! Especially if you are a student. The owner Geraint Dafis will not reimburse you if his staff damage your items. He is aware that he is the only dry cleaners in Aberystwyth and he takes advantage of it. I lost two of my best suit jackets I use for job interviews and was not compensated.The first time I thought it was a one off. The second time I brought the damage to the attention of a staff member and they openly admitted to damaging the item of clothing saying that they had hired a new staff member and that they made a mistake. The staff apologised profusely and were incredibly kind. But the owner wrote me a letter still denying everything and claiming the damage was the result of my jacket being old. Didnt even have the courtesy to mail the letter to my address. Geraint made his staff call me to tell me he left the letter at the dry cleaners and I had to come pick the letter up in person from his staff. I wrote Geraint Dafis making him aware that his staff had outed his lie with no response. Did not return any phone calls either. I had been a customer for 3 years. They do a great job with dresses and offer a consent form normally if they are worried about damaging things. But they did not offer me a consent form to sign with the two jackets they damaged. So I assumed and was very much wrong that I should trust them. Beware. If they damage your clothing- no matter how often or small- Geraint Dafis will not reimburse you or compensate your loss. His staff-bless them- are lovely and deserve a much better owner.
