Towed our only family car to Commercial Motors due to engine failure. Said they were busy and couldnt look at it for week or two. Six weeks later without our only car, they finally started work on it, they believed misfitted timing belt caused engine damage 1500 to fix. However, engine fault occurred again after their fix, causing repeat damage, apparently my fault for them mis-diagnosing problem, bill now 2000. After 2 and a half months of being felt held hostage, work finally complete. Made 2k payment by Bacs, as conveniently their card machine not working so therefore I wouldnt have section 75 credit card legal claim cover. Finally got car home, was completely stinking, driver car seat and foot well covered in oil and grease where they hadnt used any seat covers. Gave car a wash to find huge scuff on front bumper, which was clearly a fault of the garage as they had tried a poor paint job to cover it up. BEWARE not been the first reading other posts of car being held hostage and will not be the last.
