Sampled quite a lot of the menu this evening, standouts for us were the asparagus and the celeriac both very good. Beef was rather disappointing, it is what it says in the menu garlic and beef but thats your lot. Fish cake was very dry and relied heavily on the curry sauce to make it edible. Coffee was good we didnt go for a dessert.

Amazing food and friendly staff. Not much more you can ask for. Great value for money. Intimate relaxed atmosphere too

The Gaff is tucked away off the main street and you can instantly tell you're in for an experience as you step through the door. The decor is lovely and staff welcoming. You pick a range of dishes like in a tapas and they come out as they are ready. We had, oyster, pork cromisque, tiger prawns, beef sirloin, bang bang cauliflower, purple sprouting brocoli with satay and rosemary fries Every dish was exquisite and cooked with care. What a gem.
