Went to see this care home for my father, what can say the first thing that greeted us was the cellotape on the broken glass on the front door. Went inside and the next thing was it was absolutely filthy the walls and floors were all splattered with what I can only describe as coffee stains and water marks. There was what I can only describe as two wooden boards on the bottom of the 1 door (sort of acting like a baby gate) which if 1 of the residents pushed would of fell through,and wasn't high enough to stop residents trying to climb over. Asked to see the rooms in which the lady couldn't open she had a coin trying to open it then called another lady to see if she could do it and she said there was 'a fault with it previously' eventually after about 5 minutes they managed to open the door. Room was tiny had loads of furniture which was cluttered and again a hazard. Bathroom smelled fousty and the lady who showed us around said residents have 1 bath a week and if they want a wash in the mornings they can (face) overall an unpleasant experience and I wouldn't let my dog live there. If this had a minus rating I could do it would be there... Hope this helps people in the future!!
