Nicholls Abergavenny

We love Abergavenny as a place and travel here whenever we can. However, this left our trip to be slightly disappointing. The shop itself is nice and aimed at the more high-end brands. The cafe looks nice, however, service is slow, and waiters are generally unfriendly. Was told there were no tables for 30 minutes when two tables simply needed to be cleaned. Came back after half an hour and finally sat down with another 30-minute wait just for tea and coffee. Wouldn't recommend unless you have the whole week to wait!

Just order online from somewhere. The product range or size range in Nicholls has never been very good honestly and the prices far from competitive, but its always nice to go in the cafe is good and youd normally not mind paying the extra to support a local business if you felt appreciated or get something in return. But theres no point buying there. Find what you like and buy it online. The only reason to buy from a store anymore is because of the customer service and the to support a local business. But when they dont want to provide customer service and the business doesnt want to support you, then its time to take your elsewhere. I dont think it can be a particularly nice place to work either. Every time I go in I hear the staff gossiping about each other and they are very rarely pleasant to each other and it reflects in the way they some times speak to customers if you make an effort they will, if not, be ready for a frosty reception. I tried to get a gift receipt for an unwanted gift. It had the Nicholls tags, it had the Nicholls bar code, it was even in its Nicholls bag! No. Bye. Was my reply. Order online. Youre better protected and my even my laptop gives me a friendly service! I probably spent 700+ each Christmas here on gifts. If my gift recipients struggle this much with any issues they have then its not worth it. Go to Nicholls and take a look, but dont buy there. Get online youll be better protected and probably save a good amount too!

Bought cans of seude protector from here they had a fault and the cans were empty. No communication from the store Very disappointed with my visit
