We stayed in the Yurt which is truly beautiful & made me feel like a King. The yurt is hand-built with latticed ash wood, a wooden floor, a lockable door and window & a wood burner complete with a stock of wood and fire lighters which make the fire easy to light. We stayed with our two children and it felt spacious. The beds were all super comfortable and the yurt + the little kitchen area were all spotlessly clean Having sheltered facilities to cook, nearby showers and the warmth of the yurt made this comparable to an airbnb stay in convenience, the beauty of the surroundings and the site made this a far richer experience than any other place we stayed in over our holiday & we all had a great time We loved exploring the woods around the camp site and encouraging all the different structures around site which includes a communal area to meet other campers/glampers The site is beautiful & the hosts have obviously put a lot of time and care into looking after it. The surrounding area is also beautiful & we would love to visit again Would highly recommend

We spent 3 nights at this wonderful campsite on the touring pitch Maple which is all on its own on the lower level amongst the trees. The campsite is small with lots of character including very clean toilets and showers and a great undercover communal area with a dining and seating area next to a big pizza oven. There is a 6 mile walk to Aberdovey with incredible views from where you can get some great Welsh ice cream and a bus back to the site entrance. Barmouth is also worth a visit for its lovely sandy beach. The owners have put a lot of thought into the site which has real charm. This is the opposite of a regimented, dull, open, grass caravan field site and thoroughly deserves its high rating.
