Ursula was amazing! She went out of her way to accomodate us. She even let us bring our food home from a restaurant called Coconut Cove (really nice and made vegan dish for us) as they didn't have any tables. She gave us plates etc and told us to leave everything for her to tidy away and clean up which was nice as it was 10pm by then. Nice and clean. Lovely place with great views. Only downside was no shower, just a bath but it did have the whirlpool option in it. Breakfast was great! My friend is vegan so she had lovely sourdough bread and fruit and soya milk etc.

This is a difficult review to write, but it is based on my honest experience and opinions. All of my reviews are as detailed as possible to ensure others can make an informed decission on a product / service / location that I have used / visited. Thank you. We rented the private caravan for a long weekend. From booking to arrival, the host Ursula had excellent communication and was a pleasure to deal with. Located a short drive from Pwllheli and Aberdaron the caravan is in an easy position to get to all the local tourist spots. The caravan is located up on a hill, (although not very well sign posted) with amazing 360 views. With the beautiful sunset from the bedroom window in the evening, to the breathtaking crystal clear night sky viewed from the private decking area. Truely amazing. The caravan itself was well presented and comfortably sleeps 6. It has a spacious lounge, dining area and kitchen with all the usual fixtures and fittings. A gas fire in the lounge and 2 additional oil filled radiators in the bedroom provided the heating, and they were needed! It was really cold in the caravan throughout the night and first thing in the morning (despite it being summer and 28 during the day). Electric is provided by means of an old 1 coin operated electric meter. There is a jar of old 1 coins, and an empty jar for you to put your money in as an exchange. We, a family of 5 stayed for 4 nights, used the radiators every night, tv, hair dryers, microwave etc and used less than 3 in electric, so no need to bring a huge bag of coins! I would give this place a massive recommendation, 10 stars if possible, but it has a couple of down sides which I feel is important to share as they really had a negative impact on our holiday. The caravan is situated on a hill right next to a cattle field. It is great in the morning to see the cows at your window, and the kids loved it. However, with cows comes cow poo, and with that brings flies! Millions of flies! It was impossible to enjoy eating breakfast or lunch outside and if you eat inside, you have to have the doors and windows shut. When getting in the car, which was covered in these large black flies you then have to try and get in without all the flies getting in, which was funny the first time and we had a laugh about it, but became tedious and annoying very quickly! The other negative factor was the caravan itself is actually quite dated and not in the best kept condition. In the corners, under the beds, in the cupboards etc is an abundance of cobwebs and spiders. My kids hate spiders, so I had to do a full perimeter check and clean upon arrival. One of the outer doors does not operate correctly and the lock on the other door is tempermental. The TV signal works only when it feels like it, which didnt really affect us but thought it was worth mentioning. Although the Wi-Fi connection was really good. Once the temperature outside begins to drop, the caravan inside gets cold very quickly! And then thats when the real fun begins! Through gaps in the wall joint fittings, through the bathroom light fitting, from the dining room cupboard and the bedroom overhead storage comes a barrage of earwigs! This is no exageration, I have never, other than on a Sir David Attenborough TV program seen so many insects in one place! Now I dont mind insects, but the thought of them dropping on me and the kids throughout the night whilst we sleep resulted in a not very well rested holiday. If the caravan was replaced with a more modern one or a lodge type structure, this would without a doubt be a 10 out of 10 place to stay. But regretably......at this moment in time the accomodation itself means my review is only a 3 out of 5, which is such a real shame.
